About Us
The Piedmont POA Serves The City of Piedmont and Its Members With Honor and Pride
The Piedmont Police Officers Association was founded in 1977 by Officers Jim Faulkner, John Moilan and Fred Gouveia. The goal of the Piedmont Police Officers Associaton is to partner with the community and provide quality police service through community interaction, emphasizing the highest degree of cooperation, professionalism and ethical behavior, and to create an atmosphere of safety and security. Our community policing approach helps neighborhoods keep safe by working with our police officers daily. The Piedmont Police Officers Association is active in our community and many of our members volunteer in the city of Piedmont and the communities where they live.
The men and women with the Piedmont Police Department have proudly served the community of Piedmont for the last 111 years. We are committed to not only the safety of our citizens and businesses, but to providing charitable contributions to those in our community who need our help the most. Currently, we are involved with the Law Enforcement Torch Run with Special Olympics, Annual Shop with a Cop, Adopt A Family, and Three Wise Men, local charitable organizations. For more information about the work we do in our communities, please visit our supported charities tab.
To help us better serve you and the community we share, please feel free to join our mission by participating in any of our events or by donating toward our cause. To submit a donation, please mail to:
